For two nights only, Chef Chet Sharma of London’s BiBi brings his groundbreaking take on Indian cuisine to l’abeille, joining Chef Mitsu for a multi-course dialogue unlike any other. Chef Chet brings with him an untraditional background with a Doctorate Degree in Physics from Oxford, earned while staging and training at some of the most celebrated kitchens in the UK (L’Enclume, The Ledbury, Moor Hall). Scientific rigour meets meaningful narratives from the chef's heritage, resulting in dishes that speak to the soul. Paired with Chef Mitsu’s refined French-Japanese artistry, this collaboration is a bold clash of styles that should not be missed.

Chef in Residence #14 - Shiro Yamazaki (Yamazaki) x Mitsunobu Nagae (l'abeille)

On this one-night-only occasion, Tokyo’s revered Chef Shiro Yamazaki of Yamazaki in Nishiazabu makes his New York debut, joining Chef Mitsu to create a rare tasting menu rooted in grace, technique, and harmony. From Yamazaki’s modern take on traditional Japanese Kaiseki cuisine to Mitsu’s meticulous French foundations, guests will experience a seamless experience melding the two. With dishes grilled over binchotan, artfully plated kaiseki-style fare, and wine pairings curated in collaboration with Chef Yamazaki himself (a certified sommelier), this is an experience only l’abeille can offer!
